The whole-of-government translation service ensures important NSW Government announcements are translated and communicated in a timely manner to NSW communities. The program is funded by the NSW Government and is complementary to NSW Agencies.
Key components of this program include:
- Development of a Multicultural Communications Playbook to help NSW Government Agencies effectively engage with diverse communities.
- Translation of important NSW Government messaging including text and graphic elements such as media releases and social media tiles. Translations will be carried out by NAATI accredited professionals.
- Distribution of messaging to in-language media and relevant community groups.
- Advice to agencies on the most effective strategies to reach communities, including language selection, channel preference and geographic locations.
