The 2022 Community Relations Report was tabled in both Houses of the Parliament of New South Wales on 21 June 2023 under section 14 of the Multicultural NSW Act 2000 (the Act). The Act requires Multicultural NSW to prepare annually for Parliament:
- a report on the state of community relations in New South Wales as affected by cultural diversity;
- an assessment of the effectiveness of public authorities in observing the Multicultural Principles in the conduct of their affairs.
Multicultural NSW has drawn on data, information and insights from a range of reliable sources in producing this report.
