Our vision is an inclusive, connected and socially cohesive multicultural NSW.
Multicultural NSW is a respected and well-established partner to multicultural communities across NSW. As a trusted NSW Government agency, we are all about connecting people and delivering a quality experience, enabled by the latest technology. With more than 40 years’ experience, we have a deep understanding of context and nuances, ensuring the correct message is conveyed every time.
We are developing our new Strategic Plan, and we want your input. We want to hear your ideas about what Multicultural NSW should focus on for the coming years. You are invited to share your insights at a community consultation session. Sessions are being held across NSW and online throughout June and July 2025. Attendance is free. Registration is essential.
We provide face-to-face and remote interpreting in more than 120 languages to meet your language services needs.
Our professional interpreters provide language services by video or over the phone through digitally enabled processes. This makes engaging with us quick and easy.
Your documents, media releases and publications can be accurately translated by one of over 1,300 NAATI-certified translators and interpreters based in NSW.
We offer scholarships and education to speakers of in-demand languages to become qualified, practicing interpreters.
We provide complementary advice on ways to engage with multicultural communities.
