Lisa Woodland
Lisa Woodland is the Director, NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Equity and Prevention Service. She is a registered Psychologist with post graduate qualifications in health service research, clinical redesign, and health communication.
With over two decades of experience working alongside multicultural communities, Lisa has dedicated her career to addressing health inequities. Her passion lies in making health services more accessible, more inclusive, and more responsive to the culturally diverse communities they serve.
Lisa’s work has often focused on areas where cultural understanding and stigma intersect, such as cancer, mental health, and vaccination. She is a champion of co-design, working collaboratively with communities to create culturally responsive and inclusive health information, services and programs. More recently, Lisa has led critical research and practical strategies to addressing racism within health settings.
