Commonwealth bank of Australia

CommBank is committed to building a brighter future for all and has been supporting local communities across Australia for over a hundred years.

Through our partnerships with Football Australia and Cricket Australia we’re committed to helping grow women’s sport to give more girls the opportunity to play.

We’re proud naming rights partner of the CommBank Matildas and in 2023 we extended our partnership with Football Australia to support the launch of the Growing Football Fund with the ambitious goal of attracting and retaining 50,000 female participants nationally over the next two years.

As principal partner of the Australian Women’s International Cricket team, we’re proud to have championed women’s cricket for 25 years. Since 2016, our support of Cricket Australia’s Growing Cricket for Girls Fund has helped over 950 clubs, cricket associations and schools to give girls from all cultures and of all abilities the chance to step up the crease.

Each year our Community Grants program awards organisations who are driving social change in their communities. In 2023 we awarded 201 grants to a range of organisations across children’s health, domestic and family violence, migrant resourcing, Indigenous education, mental health, and many more.

For 25 years we’ve partnered with the Humour Foundation to turn frowns into smiles. As founding partner of the Clown Doctors program, we’ve helped fund Clown Doctors in 21 hospitals and 1 children’s hospice to bring laughter where it is unexpected, yet most needed.

Our 10-year Can4Cancer program run in partnership with Tour de Cure has seen thousands of CommBank employees run, walk or ride to raise vital funds in support of research to prevent and cure cancer.

For our customers experiencing hardship or crisis we’re here to lend a helping hand. CommBank’s Emergency Assistance Program provides support for our customers experiencing financial hardship due to natural disasters and Next Chapter Program provides free and confidential support for those experiencing financial abuse from domestic and family violence.
