Polina Bilinsky Mycak is an Australian born Ukrainian youth leader and Digital Officer of the Ukrainian Association of Sydney, who has been actively involved with the Ukrainian-Australian community for 15 years.

She has actively promoted Ukrainian culture through past performances with the Ukrainian dance ensembles, Veselka and Zahrava, and is currently a traditional folkloric dance instructor at the Ukrainian Central School in Sydney.

Drawing on her digital skills and cultural expertise within the Ukrainian community, Polina has helped to build community networks through developing an online presence for Ukrainian organisations, fostering a sense of belonging for recently displaced Ukrainian refugees as well as Australians of Ukrainian ancestry.

Polina is currently pursuing a double degree in Psychology and Arts at Macquarie University, majoring in cultural anthropology, with a particular focus on cross-cultural psychology. She is Co-events Coordinator for the Macquarie University Women’s Collective and hopes to promote the interests of culturally and linguistically diverse women.
