California born David Terrazas migrated to Australia in 1979, first holding a graduate research position as a collaboration between the University of California, Santa Barbara and the NSW Conservatorium of Music. Several years later he changed his career path to work in the graphic design and advertising sector.

Over the years David worked in consumer goods/packaging, finance, legal, property and not-for-profit sectors for many leading Australian national companies. In the 1990s work shifted again as an early adopter of digital technologies, design, artwork creation, digital asset management and early online projects.

Career highlights have included a number of years working on Sydney 2000 Olympic Games projects, being a co-founder of Crikey (independent Australian online news), holding NSW State and National leadership roles in the Australian Graphic Design Association and membership and project work with the American Institute of Graphic Arts.

David has returned to Australia following an 8-year stint in California, and now resides in regional South Australia, where he continues working in online communications for specialist industry sectors.
