By fostering social cohesion through our Community Resilience programs, we inspire people to stand united against divisive forces and come together in times of need. Through expanding robust relationships, together we are building a stronger state.

In NSW we practise more than 148 religious traditions. Through understanding our religious diversity, we can promote interfaith harmony and respect, including in the workplace. The Days of Religious Significance calendar is a guide for employers and managers, helping them to accommodate the religious needs of staff. The calendar has been developed in consultation with members of the Multicultural NSW Religious Communities Forum and is not a comprehensive list of all days of religious observance.

Understanding our communities means we can deliver improved services to them. Using ABS data, we can get a snapshot of the cultural diversity of the whole state or particular regions, and we can reach them more effectively.
