Welcome to the September edition of Multicultural Link.
This month, we celebrated International Translation Day, launched a helpful Multicultural Communications Playbook, hosted the NSW Government Faith Affairs Council inception meeting at NSW Parliament and enjoyed the warm spring weather at the Chatswood Street Fair, proudly funded by Multicultural NSW.
We’re also happy to announce that the Stronger Together Festival and Events Grants are now open. Find out more below including how to register to attend an information session.
The Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum is on Saturday, 14 October. Every vote counts and it’s important our community has the facts to make an informed choice and decision. To help inform friends, family and any of our stakeholders, please head to the Australian Government’s voice.gov.au where you’ll find in-language resources.
Finally, if you’re in the Tamworth or Wagga Wagga area, come and meet our Community Engagement team next month. They’ll be at the Fiesta La Peel in Tamworth and Fusion Botanical in Wagga Wagga on Saturday, 21 October. Both council events are funded by Multicultural NSW.
