NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service on behalf of NSW Health

NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service (MHCS) is a NSW Health state-wide service with expertise in communication and community engagement with multicultural communities. We are committed to addressing health inequities for multicultural communities through effective health communication.

MHCS provides expert advice and support to NSW Health services and programs through evidence-based communication strategies; high-quality translation services; effective community engagement, consultations and co-design; and building the capacity of services and programs to effectively engage with multicultural communities.

The NSW public health system is the largest public health system in Australia, providing safe, high-quality healthcare to the people of NSW. Our vision is for a sustainable health system that delivers outcomes that matter most to patients and the community, is personalised, invests in wellness and is digitally enabled.

We are committed to providing person-centred care that supports equity and inclusion in designing and delivering services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service on behalf of NSW Health is the sponsor of the Multicultural Health Medal.
