Burwood is the fifth most culturally diverse LGA in Australia. We have planned and envisioned an event that will celebrate and share this diversity with residents and visitors. Multicultural Street Meet event proposes cultural activations across two of Burwood’s pedestrian laneways, showcasing diversity and the wonderful vibrant mix of creative cultural capital that can be found in the LGA. Activations will raise cultural awareness, expose participants to multiple forms of cultural expression, increase community harmony, and create a sense of place in the heart of Burwood from the amazing array of cultures that provides the beat to which we dance together.
