Anyone can nominate an eligible individual or organisation for a Multicultural Community Medal or the Multicultural Honour Roll.
You can also self-nominate if you choose.

Yes, you can nominate yourself for a medal.

There is no limit to the number of individuals or organisations you can nominate.

All nominations must be submitted online on our Awards Force platform before the closing date.
Email or hard copies will not be accepted.

No, there is no application fee to submit a nomination for the Multicultural Community Medals and Honour Roll.

You will be able to use your existing login details. Just enter your username and password, and you will be able to access the current awards program.

You can apply again each year, as long as the nominee meets the eligibility criteria.
What happens next...

The nomination process involves three steps:
- Initial eligibility assessment: The submission will be reviewed to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
- Merit assessment: Eligible nominations are scored by a Judging Panel based on a scoring matrix.
- Ministerial Approval and Premier’s Endorsement: The NSW Minister for Multiculturalism and the NSW Premier approve and endorse the list of winners.

You will be advised in writing about the progress of your nomination approximately 6 weeks prior to the awards ceremony.
Winners will be announced at the 2026 Premier’s Harmony Dinner.
