An attractive range of employment conditions and benefits to support you and to help you develop in your role and engage with the NSW community.
Flexible & Hybrid Working Arrangements
Multicultural NSW provides a Flexible Work Hours Agreement that allows employees greater flexibility in working hours to maintain their work life balance, assist with workload and deadlines and be fairly recognised for the time worked.
We also recognise that the same approach will not suit everyone depending on the role, so we are committed to considering any proposals to work flexibly within government policy parameters.
We have a hybrid working approach – office/working from home. This means you are able to work from home some days of the week and come into the office for the other days. Hybrid working arrangements do depend on the type of job you are doing. For instance, most office-based roles can be worked on a hybrid basis.
Generous Leave Entitlements
Under our employment conditions you can have a range of leave entitlements such as four weeks annual leave and paid sick leave, carer’s leave, and long service leave.
Paid parental leave – each new parent is able to access up to 14 weeks leave or adoption leave at full pay.
Special leave – a range of different types of leave including pandemic leave, jury duty, and, in some circumstances, even volunteering leave.

Health and Wellbeing
Multicultural NSW supports and provides health and wellbeing programs such as annual flu vaccination program, access to the Employee Assistance Program, access to Fitness Passport, access to wellbeing sessions on topics like managing stress or working smarter, etc.
Career Development
Multicultural NSW actively promotes ongoing training and other development opportunities through our annual Performance Development Plans. Our development opportunities aim to enhance job satisfaction and performance, and assist in career planning
