This month, we acknowledged the many talented professionals in the multicultural media and marketing space at the Premier’s Multicultural Communications Awards.
Our agency also took part in the Mateship Cup in a bid to strengthen bilateral ties between Australia and India through sport. The cricket match displayed a true celebration of unity and friendship through a mutual passion for sport.
Check out some of the festivals and events that Multicultural NSW have attended, made possible by our Stronger Together grant funding. Community connection is the common theme at these events that provide an opportunity to highlight our cultural diversity and strengthen understanding for everybody who participates.
Our agency continues to work with the Faith Affairs Council, COMPLAN partners, and other agencies to help maintain community harmony. Showing compassion and supporting community harmony is more important than ever before. The community of NSW has an opportunity to demonstrate how we can live together harmoniously and set an example for the rest of the world.
As Diwali approaches, we welcome new light over darkness. The festival of lights symbolises hope, humanity, and renewal, and is a time for prayers of peace and health.
Until next month, please continue to take care of yourselves and each other.
