Public Gatherings

As of 18 March 2020, all non-essential indoor public gatherings of 100 people or more are immediately banned in NSW and across Australia. The ban on outdoor public gatherings of 500 people or more also continues to apply. These measures apply to cultural and religious gatherings.

What can I do?

Everyone can play a role in responding to COVID-19 by following advice about social distancing and practicing good hygiene including regular hand washing with soap and water and covering coughs and sneezes.
