Sally Betts
Sally is passionate about fairness and equity – and that everyone has equal opportunities. She is also passionate about making sure that services and processes are available to assist people achieve their own goals and ambitions.
She is a long-term Councillor and former Mayor of Waverley Council. Sally has a background in tourism and as a political advisor. Sally has been involved with a number of not-for-profit youth organisations for many years, often chairing their boards.
Her achievements include returning Waverley Council to financial stability in 2011, as well as introducing environmental targets for both Council and the community in 2008. She also introduced the Cultural Diversity 2010-2014 Policy to Council.
Sally also promotes and supports young women entering politics.
