Esther is passionate about making sure that diverse voices are heard and respected in decision-making spaces, particularly the voices of young, diverse women.

She works as a lawyer in a commercial law firm in Sydney. Esther also runs SHADIE BY EA, an inclusive brand that provides essentials for women of all skin tones and body sizes.

Esther also sits on the Department of Home Affairs’ NSW Youth Reference Group and advises the NSW Regional Director on youth matters.

While at university, Esther served as a student adviser to the Vice-Chancellor of Notre Dame Australia. She was Secretary of the Notre Dame Sydney Law Society and Education Officer for the Australian Law Students’ Association.

In 2021, Esther was named as one of Australia’s 25 top up-and-coming small-business entrepreneurs by ‘Marie Claire Australia’ and Are Media, who partnered with Instagram. In 2021, Esther was recognised as a finalist in the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards for her work with SHADIE BY EA.

When she is not advising Multicultural NSW or working, Esther enjoys catching up with friends and reading a good book in the sun.
