Philippine folk songs and dances mirror the culture and tradition of the Filipinos and have also been a source of culture identify of the Filipino people. The festival will present a repertoire of the musical talents of the Filipinos and other invited ethnic groups to continue our positive contribution towards strengthening the interpersonal relationship with the mainstream Australian community. The Philippine folksongs and dances illustrate the fiesta spirit and love of life of many Filipinos and to share it with the wider community of NSW, means a portrayal of the vibrancy of the diverse culture now embedded in our society. Further, food stalls/tables of various ethnic groups will add more flavour to the event.
