Cultural diversity is central to where we've come from, who we are and where we're heading. As our society becomes more culturally diverse, building and maintaining social cohesion and community harmony become increasingly important.
Multicultural NSW is the peak NSW Government body tasked with building and maintaining a cohesive and harmonious multicultural society that enriches the lives of all the people of NSW.
Promoting community, language and capability lies at the very heart of our agency's work and mandate. These three strategic priorities inform every aspect of the work we do.
We are committed to building and maintaining a flourishing multicultural society that embraces a shared and active commitment to cultural diversity.
We will promote access and participation by providing high-quality interpreting and translation services for all the people of NSW.
We will enhance communication, coordination and build capability across all sectors of our society to utilise cultural diversity as a shared asset.
