Using data from the 2011 and 2006 Census, it details key social and economic characteristics of communities living across the State. A snapshot of the settlement history of the top 30 communities (bolded) in NSW, by population size, is also available.
The purpose of this profile is to assist the New South Wales population in understanding the State’s cultural diversity and the way it has changed over time. The information can be used for a variety of purposes including policy, program and service development, research and for general interest.
